I swore I would never vote for McCain.

I can't recall whether you're able to vote for a VP and Pres who are not on the same ticket, but I don't think so. If you can, then I'm voting Barr / Palin. [update: I was right - you can't]

If not, I think the Palin pick may just have convinced me to be able to vote McCain / Palin.

I look forward to reading and learning more about (and hearing more from) Mrs Palin, but a good half hour of googling and listening to the TV has me firmly hooked.

P.S. I gather her husband is a union member and she was once also. Not the end of the world, so long as she supports right to work. But definitely we need to know more about this.
